Shock blow to Man UTD; Ajax star has refused to join Erik Ten Hag at Man UTD.
When the current Man UTD manager came in, he was confident he will be bringing with him some Ajax players but now it is looking like he was not able to do this as a result of the fact that some of these players have refused to move.
This may be as a result of Man UTD not playing the champions league next season to personal decisions but whatever it is, it definitely does not look too good and Man UTD isn’t the choice of these players.
One such player is Jurrien Timber who has shocked the Man UTD boss Erik Ten hag as he remained reluctant about a move to England to join Manchester United.
Erik Ten Hag had told Man UTD to focus on other targets for the club such as Eriksen and De Jong as he was confident of landing the Ajax man but he was shocked by his decisions.
According to The Mirror, Ten Hag has been left ‘stunned’ by Timber’s reluctance to move to Old Trafford and that he’s now set to stay at Ajax.
Aside from the fact that he may be afraid of the UCL chances next season, it is believed that his bigger fear is a threat to his world cup ambition as he believed that a move to the Theatre of drams may make him not a regular starter and this will hurt his dreams to play in the world cup for his country.
