A restaurant manager is an individual that works in the restaurant and his responsibility is the coordination and management of the daily operation of the restaurant. They help in the hiring and training of staff for the restaurant as well as addressing concerns and requests of both staff and customers
A restaurant manager is expected to have exceptional leadership and management skills, exceptional customer service skills, able to effectively work under pressure, and be capable of thriving under little or no supervision.
What you’ll be doing?
- Coordination and management of the daily operation of the restaurant
- Hiring and training of staff for the restaurant
- Addressing concerns and requests of both staff and customers
- Formulating and setting up work schedules for staff
- Ensure that the restaurant policies and regulations were strictly adhered to by the staff
- Source and request for ingredients and supplies for the restaurant
- Efficiently interact with customers for feedback
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Renowned leadership and management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of working alone and as a member of a team
- Able to effectively work under pressure
- Capable of thriving under little or no supervision
- Must be strong and energetic
- Must be able to carry a load
- Must have previous experience working in such a field
