Job Description
A laundry attendant is an individual that works in the laundry room to handle the washing and folding of linen and clothing. They’re required to handle the proper operation and care of laundry machines and equipment as well as ensure a safe and tidy work environment
A laundry attendant is expected to have exceptional interpersonal and management skills, exceptional customer service skills, be able to effectively work under pressure, and be capable of thriving under little or no supervision.
What you’ll be doing?
- Washing and folding of linen and clothing
- Proper operation and care of laundry machines and equipment
- Sorting and arrangement of linens and clothing in the laundry room
- Provide exceptional service experience to all customers
- Addressing concerns and requests of customers
- Sourcing and requesting appropriate laundry detergents
- Ensure a conducive and tidy work environment
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Renowned interpersonal and management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of working alone and as a member of a team
- Able to effectively work under pressure
- Capable of thriving under little or no supervision
- Must be strong and energetic
- Must be able to carry a load
- Must have previous experience working in such a field
